This is the symidream Bliary
That’s a mixture between a Blog and a Diary. It was officially started on 18th December 2007

- Some aspects of the bliary don’t look so good in Firefox
- Only certain posts will be open for comments
- You can link back to the main site from the right hand menu or top title banner
- On the right you will also find the Bliary archives and posts sorted into categories
- The calendar is a list of dates on which posts were made, click a date to see the posts
- I’ll write something up whenever I can
- Check back regularly to see what’s new
- I can’t spell for toffee and no one edits my writing so you can gawp in amazement at the typos that the spell checker doesn’t find
- I’m not a newscaster so don’t expect to much in that respect
- I’m allowed to put up gossip, to a certain extent and will use code names for people where necessary.
We are committed to honest writing about Symi and daily life here as we see it. This is a place for positive and fun updates and we’re not going to get into the petty, shameful and harmful bickering that does this island and its people no favours that we have seen elsewhere. (Hence comments are usually disabled – but you can always email us your comments and we will post them.)

POSTS & Comments
If you want to comment (nicely) on a post you will need to register. To do this: Click ‘No comments/2 comments’ or whatever the comments line says at the top of a post:
You should then be directed to an admin screen where you will be asked to log in - but you will need to register first so below the login boxes look for ‘register’ and click it. You will then be asked to enter a user-name (any name you want to be known by as it shows up on the bliary when you make a comment) and your email address. This email address must be correct as your password will be sent to it. Fill those in (your chosen user name and your email) and click continue, or register or whatever it tells you to do next. Check your e-mail after a few seconds and you should receive a Word Press email with your password. You can then go back to login with the user-name you made up and the password you were sent. After you have done this you can change your password to something more memorable.
It’s not as complicated as it sounds and if you have problems let us know and we will help you through it.
ALBUMS
These are yearly albums of photos - not the pics we put in the post but collections of photos from events etc. Click a year, scroll down the page and click a thumbnail to open that gallery. You can return to the album page with your back button or via the main, top menu.
FOR SALE
If you have something for sale (I’m thinking business mainly but anything considered as long as it’s not a family member) then get in touch and I’ll see if I can put it up on the new For Sale page. Check out the page now to see what’s already there.
BOOKS ETC.
This page is to advertise our own books and calenders etc. but we can also add your art work, books, cards, whatever you have on line and available for sale. We don’t handle the sales, only advertise where folk can go to buy your products. Again, contact us and we will see what we can do.
