We found ourselves in Yialos in the mid-late afternoon, having Sunday lunch with Lynn at Yiannis’ giros place (very reasonable, very friendly, opposite Symi Tours). We were lazily heading for the bus to come back up, as Charlene had to get ready for work, purchase meridia, when Pandelis stopped and offered us a lift. Well, you never say no do you?

On the way down I snapped this photo because the house looked lovely in the light – better than it does in this pic. (And it’s not actually on a slope, I was walking and snapping.) I’m back to the afternoon shift at the Rainbow Bar today and after that we have the ‘wine night’ at the gallery - glass of wine, view the art, chat on the steps… For me it’s turning into more of a book signing evening, which is very pleasant and we’re looking forward to seeing who comes along this week. It’s not about having a party or huge gathering, just a social something to do before dinner on a Monday night.
