First Symi Dream photo walk of the season
A quick blog this morning as we are heading out soon for the first photo walk of the season, through the Pedi valley to the sea, and Neil full of hay fever; this should be interesting.
Am also recovering from the Easter weekend festivities and yesterday’s family dinner in particular: Symi Lamb in the oven (donated by Sotiris from the supermarket), Potatoes and beans from Adriana’s garden, Neil’s homemade kolokithokeftedes (courgette fritters) and meat keftethes, my homemade bread, with salad, baked beetroot and Jill’s homemade scordalia… the list goes on, oh, and includes chocolate things the Easter Bunny left outside in the afternoon.
And then, around 9.30 it was time for the Easter firework display. I’ve not had a chance to look at Neil’s photos yet, they are bound to be better than mine from my ancient, small, snappy-cam, that I’ve put here today. Along with Jenine and her Tsoureki.
Also heard the Dodekanisos Pride come in yesterday, so am assuming that it is back on schedule? Must dash, walking and photographing to be done.
