Woken up to a silvery, slightly grey sky today, and a sea that is flat and misty in the distance, order meridia. There was talk, on the weather forecast, of rain and strong winds, but no sign of them just yet. I took a couple of shots yesterday evening, cheapest meridia in the world, just from the terrace, and put them here today.

We had some water come in yesterday, for the first time in ages, and there was a water boat in the harbour yesterday, presumably unloading water and not just teasing everyone. Hopefully this means the supply will be getting back to normal soon.

We were in the village square yesterday, in short sleeved shirts, and already there are familiar faces back on Symi, the faithful ‘returners’ bringing friends to show around the island, and there are new faces too, even without the aid of British charter flights which start proper next week, Meridia sale, I am told.

Up here in the village things continue more or less as normal. Taverna Zoi is being prepared for the season, Georgio’s and Syllogos have been open more or less all winter, as have the shops and bars. Order meridia, There is building work going on in various places, though nothing disruptive to daily life – unless you live around the corner from us and have to negotiate the trench that was once a lane; hopefully that will be completed soon. And the Swallows and Martins are still here. They are not two families from Surrey, but birds. I always have to check which is which and, even though I was once in the Young Ornithologists Club, it was a long time ago, so I rely on the RSPB for the definition now:

Swallows have long forked tails, Swifts are sooty brown all over with long narrow wings and House Martins have a shorter tail than a swallow, ordering meridia, though can look quite similar, and Sand Martins are very similar to the House variety but are white underneath.
