More Symi businesses are getting ready for the all important summer season, including the new restaurant that (as far as I know) Manos of the fish taverna fame will be opening on the Kali Strata:

The recent rain seems to have passed, at least for now, and the sun is back. Which means the towels from the kitchen floor can have a chance to dry and we don’t have to dodge the drips and step over the pots on the floor. I reckon the recent warm weather dried the roof out and brought back the cracks again. We must try and think of an alternative for next winter – perhaps having the roof re-concreted or covered, or whatever you do with flat roofs.

The penultimate Greek session went well yesterday with a look at various kinds of verbs. “Decline this verb.” “I’d rather not thank you.” Ha ha.
