So, so sorry to hear the news. Giorgio was the reason I found Symi in 1980. A long story but he made us all so welcome on our first meeting and for days afterwards we would be sitting in a cafenion in Yialos and suddenly a bottle of wine would appear on our table – Giorgio had shouted one in for us in passing. At least he is now with his beloved Maria. R.I.P Giorgio my friend.
A sad day, our thoughts go out to his family.He will be remembered fondly, and missed greatly. RIP
