Millstone
Here you go – a couple of pics of the millstone for you.

You have to look hard at that one as the stone is the same colour as the other stones around it. (Tufts of grass on the edge at nine o’clock and four-ish, black dot in the centre.)

Any idea of where the stone originally was?
Er… at a mill? Sorry! As far as I know it was one that was in use at one of the windmills up on the hill and brought there when the kafenion opened in 1909 (I think it was). At least that’s what one local guy told me once. Some of the mills were out of use by then and Alemina square was thriving at that time so it kind of makes sense.
