Last night’s welcome breeze has blown away and the morning has started still and warm again today. I’ve got a few odds and ends to be getting on with now that the wedding DVD is finished: more T shirts for our online shop, minding the bar, drawing up a map of the village… What. Anyone who knows Horio will know that it’s a maze of alleyways and narrow lanes, so I’m not going to map it exactly as it is, online meridia. While work was being carried out a stash of gold coins was found within the walls; some say this was the hiding place of the owner’s treasure during times of trouble, when the island was raided by ‘pirates’, and you can see these coins in the museum. Now don’t say I don’t tell you something interesting from time to time.
