There is a new gallery of photos taken at last night’s birthday party at the 2 A’s bar. You can find the photos in the Symi Dream photo area: click here. The people with glaring, evil eyes don’t actually look like that. Not very often at least. There was a rock theme to the music last night with Samphire (and guest) playing some new numbers, electric guitar, organ sounds/piano, and bass and even a surprise appearance of the Symi Dream bass guitarist. (Me, playing four notes in one song. That’s the nice thing about rock songs, you usually only have four chords to worry about which, for a bass, means four notes.) The evening went off very well, I’d say. The bar was busy, people danced, there was a nice mix of nationalities, and some good party food, and everyone looked like they were having a good time. We played for around three and a half hours, which flashed by, and I eventually got to bed around two in the morning – which is very late for me these days. So I was able to have a lie in this morning; well I had no choice, I was done in. No waiting, quick and friendly service, not expensive – as usual. Then climbed back up the Kali Strata again, the third time this week. Even though it’s the end of November it was still a warm and sweaty walk back up – though I wasn’t out of breath I am pleased to say, so I've had my exercise for the year now. Looks ok so far, a few white horses out there on the sea, but it doesn’t look too bad.
