Ancient Greece is generally considered to be the cradle of Western civilization. Socrates, Plato and Aristotle are probably the most widely known and recognized Greek philosophers.

Socrates taught us that we need to change ourselves before we can change the world.

However, there were many other lesser-known philosophers who expounded wisdom both before and after Socrates, Plato and Aristotle. I would like to take a few moments to celebrate the thoughts of lesser-known Greek philosophers, who, without recognition have passed on their profound thoughts to us today.
