A new blog about ‘Greek Island the movie’
Some news about an exciting project and some random photos…
There was a question asked in a comment the other day, about the screenplay that I am working on at the moment, ‘any clues about the screenplay?’ Funnily enough there is a similar question in the interview we are doing with Ta Nea, the national Greek newspaper. All I can do at the moment is point you to the Greek Island Movie page and suggest that you get hold of, if you can, a copy of this coming Saturday’s special edition of Ta Nea. I’m going to be setting up a separate blog about ‘Greek Island’ (working title) but that page I just mentioned is an introduction to the project. The new blog won’t interfere with the Symi Dream blog, and it won’t be updated every day, but my writing partner and I hope it might be of interest to anyone interested in the screenwriting process, from the first idea through to the film being made. Time will tell. And I will let you know when the new blog/site is ready; it will start small and hopefully grow over time. (By the way, I don’t like using the word ‘movie’ I’d rather ‘film’ but it’s best to use both, apparently.)
You may also notice some more changes to this blog in a few days, we’re just finalising some things and then hopefully it will be much easier to navigate, and more fun to use.
Our local news, for folk who are around and might be able to ‘spread the word’ for us is that Neil has to fly back to England tonight, for family reasons, and should be back next Sunday. So this week the Symi Dream shop will be open Monday to Saturday from 18.00 to 21.00 only, that’s evenings only, starting with tomorrow’s ‘wine night’ evening at the gallery.
